Having successfully delivered the Wilson HTM Sydney office in Governor Macquarie Tower, GroupGSA were invited to design and deliver Wilson’s flagship Melbourne fitout to the same quality standards.
Although similar in approach to the Sydney fitout, with a focus on collaboration, flexible desking and non-corporate approach, the Melbourne office has its own unique identity borne from the client brief and location on an upper floor at 8 Exhibition Street. The tenancy has spectacular views across the Yarra River to the Alexandra Gardens and Federation Square precinct, all captured by both the staff workspace and shared facilities.
The design focuses on creating warm and approachable spaces with the use of light timber flooring in the shares zones played off against darker timber joinery elements and a soft colour palette. The boardroom has the added functionality of a glazed operable wall opening to the reception and visitor lounge providing a large function and flexible space. Furniture selections are considered to enhance the relaxed feel whilst maintaining a professional image for Wilson HTM.
The open working zone has an abundance of nature light and is supported by small meeting rooms, a drop-in collaborative zone, work café and storage lockers for all staff to free up valuable desk space.
