ROSE BAY WHARF
ROSE BAY, NSW
GroupGSA are currently working with Roads and Maritime Serves (RMS) to design and deliver new and upgraded commuter wharves throughout Sydney Harbour. Working collectively with RMS, SHFA, and other stakeholders , this project aims to synergise the design and understanding of passenger movements throughout the Harbour.
This prestigious commission involves the preparation of an upgrade design for Circular Quay and 12 commuter wharves in this first stage.
An integral part of the Mosman Bay Wharf is an existing structure which provides the singular commuter thoroughfare for ferry access. The existing pontoon has been refurbished and connected to a new covered gangway providing shelter for the journey.
Rose Bay Wharf is provided with new structures sitting between the existing wharf and a popular restaurant overlooking the harbour. It provides minimal impact on the spaces surrounding it and is located for east access.
