Huntleys Point Wharf has re-opened after a major upgrade to improve comfort and safety for public transport customers.
The new $4.9 million wharf includes a covered pontoon and gangway, wind protection, new seating and improved access, making it easier for customers to use ferry services.
Huntleys Point Wharf is another project delivered through the first package of the Sydney Wharves Upgrade Program and Transport New South Wales $770 million Transport Access Program providing modern, accessible and safe transport facilities.
This wharf is the fifth wharf to be upgraded, following on from the successful outcomes at Neutral Bay, Rose Bay , Milsons Point and Balmain (Thames St).
