GSA Christmas Parties

Over the last two weeks the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Studios celebrated the end of year with staff Christmas Parties.
Sydney's party was held at Centennial Park and included a Toy Making Charity Activity hosted by 'Beyond the Boardroom'. With teams challenged to complete games, trivia and wooden toy making, all toys were then donated to the Salvation Army for children in need this Christmas. Food trucks, a gelato cart and drinks were enjoyed by all, and at the end, Mark wrapped up the year with thanks to everyone and announcements of promotions. Even the pouring rain couldn't dampen our spirits!
In Melbourne the team celebrated with a morning activity which involved contributing to a Citizen Science Project for Earth Watch at the Botanical Gardens. This included a nature trail recording on biodiversity on an app provided with the aid of scientists. This data then contributes to a live project on climate change. The second part was a team lunch at Charcoal Lane in Fitzroy. Charcoal Lane is an indigenous social enterprise connecting food with the indigenous culture.
In Brisbane it was Alice in Wonderland! with everyone dressing up in 'The Mad House' themed costume and playing Croquet at the East Brisbane Croquet Club. A BBQ on the lawns was enjoyed and Mark also announced two promotions within the team.
Our Perth Studio will be having their end of year party on Friday with lunch at Il Lido on the Beach at Cottesloe.
It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun together to celebrate the end of the year. A newsletter will be sent out detailing the promotions that were announced at the parties.
